Overview
phpMyMovies is an internet based, fully searchable, personal movie database system, written in PHP, MySQL and CSS.

It features searches by Title, Director, Year, Genre and Certificate, and any combination of such feilds. The search string can be full or partial, and an empty search will list all movies in the database.

When a single or multiple parameter is fed into the search process, the matching movies are returned in pages of 10 listed alphabetically. Details include; Title, Director, Year, primary and secondary Genre, Description/Summary, Format, Rating and additional notes.

Admin
Adding content and entries to the database is very straight forward. Using the bundled form and scripts entries can be added or updated in seconds via the internet after processing through a secure login. A few small script hacks and the content can be updated by running the admin scripts locally. This will require only a local http server. Details to come shortly.

• Insert entries with THE as postfix.
• Make searches fully partialized.
• Apply default settings to all fields.
• Split year search into from and exact.
• Recode display for use with custom CSS templates.
